django-simple-friends 1.0.0 is soon to be released

I am preparing to release a new version of django-simple-friends soon. It will feature some minor improvements and Django 1.4.5 support [1]. So please send any pull-requests you want to be included in this release.

Not Everyone Play Games for the Challenge

I have recently uninstalled a strategy game becuase it was too difficult for me even in the easy mode. You might say I am not a good strategy player, but that is really beside the point. The point is I like strategy games and continuously failing in a game make it impossible to extract joy from the experience.

You will face some tough decisions in software development. My experience is people are not too eager to take the hard path. Especially if the subject is refactoring.

Quick Debian tip for Testing Static HTML Sites

For trivial stuff directing your browser to file:///path/to/your/page.html does the trick. However if you need to test your page on a real webserver, setting one up can be a hassle. More than that, I dislike leaving crubmles of config files on my dev machine.
